Stoney Hollow is a master-planned community nestled in a peaceful enclave surrounded by trees in the eastern section of Plano, Texas. Our community offers a quiet country setting.

With plenty of recreation for everyone, Stoney Hollow boasts green belts, a recreation center, swimming pool, fenced playground, lake, city owned park/playground, and Hickey Elementary School.

Hickey Elementary School serving kindergarden through 5th grade is rated Exemplary on the Texas School Report Card.

Isaacs Early Childhood School recently opened in 2009 and offers quality preschool programs for children ages three to five.

Stoney Hollow Park is located within our neighborhood. This park has open sports practice fields, a lake and playground.

Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve, Plano's largest park, is located within walking distance from Stoney Hollow. A recent expansion opened up 3.5 miles of paved trails and over 5 miles of dirt trails. [ read more ]

Oak Point Recreation Center has gymnasiums, racquetball courts, a climbing wall, indoor track, indoor 50 meter pool, indoor water slide, outdoor family leisure pool, weight room, class rooms, and locker rooms.

Collin College is the only public college in the county and serves about 45,000 credit and continuing education students each year.  The college offers more than 100 degrees and certificates in a wide range of disciplines.

DART, the public transit system, is conveniently located at Parker and 75. The red line connects Plano to Dallas and other communities both directly and via connections to the other DART lines.

Historic Downtown Plano has all the charm of yesterday with the conveniences of modern today.  Recent downtown development has given us a wide variety of shopping, dining, cultural and entertainment opportunities.  The annual Dicken's Celebration, complete with the arrival of Santa Clause, has made this event a fun filled family tradition for many, many years.
